Bartlett Masters Scholarship Scheme
The Bartlett, UCL’s Faculty of the Built Environment, is offering 10 scholarships (worth £10,000 each) for students registered on a Masters programme in the Bartlett to be used as partial fee remittance for study in 2019-20.
The deadline for receipt of all scholarship applications is 16.00 (UK time) on Friday 26 April 2019. All applicants will be informed of the outcome by email in late July 2019.
All Bartlett taught postgraduate students, including continuing students, can be considered for this scholarship, regardless of study mode or fee status.
- Our goal
The Bartlett, through this award, hopes to encourage students from under-represented groups to embark on a postgraduate qualification at UCL.
- Who can apply?
Successful applicants will need to meet two core criteria:
- Applicants must hold an offer of study to commence study in September 2019 (or be continuing, if following a modular/flexible or part-time course of study)
- Applicants must be able to pay the remainder of their tuition fees and all living expenses
Eligibility will be means-tested and will take into account total funds available to the applicant.
Please note scholarship applicants do not necessarily require an offer of admission by the deadline date, but will need to have submitted a complete application for study.
- How to apply
To apply, please complete the Masters Scholarship Scheme application form and send it to bartlett.scholarships@ucl.ac.uk

Bartlett Travel Awards and Scholarships
The Bartlett Faculty Travel Awards and Scholarships are available to support Bartlett undergraduate students in undertaking independent travel to another country.
There are three scholarships available:
- Herbert Henry Bartlett Travel Scholarship (for study and travel anywhere in the world)
- Owings Travel Scholarship (for study and travel in the USA only)
- Maggie Scruton Memorial Travel Scholarship (for study and travel in France only)
The deadline is Friday 10 May 2019
- Our goal
These awards are intended to fund travel which, rather than being directly related to a student's formal programme of study or coursework, will provide the student with an opportunity to independently experience and study a place which is new to them, and which they would not otherwise have the chance to visit. The awards are not intended to subsidise course related field trips, conferences, design projects, dissertation/thesis research or to return to a student’s home country.
- Who can apply?
All undergraduate students registered on full-time undergraduate programmes of study in the Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment are eligible to apply.
Students may apply for more than one of the above travel scholarships, but should only submit one application form.- How to apply
