In the months following COP26, we all have continue to have the opportunity to take action. Below, you will find content from our world-leading experts at The Bartlett on some of the key issues at stake, potential ways forward – and what you can do to create change.

What was COP26?

197 parties met in November 2021 to determine the future of our climate.

The Conference of Parties, or ‘COP’ is a global United Nations climate change summit. In November 2021 the UK Government co-hosted COP26 with the Government of Italy in Glasgow, with heads of state, climate experts and negotiators aiming to agree coordinated action to tackle the climate crisis and reach net zero carbon emissions.

From the transition to clean energy, to the role of cities in achieving net zero, there are a range of crucial issues were at stake.
