Zahratu Shabrina (Zara) holds a B.Eng from School of Planning, Bandung Institute of Technology Indonesia and MUP from University of Southern California USA concentrating on Preservation and Design of Built Environment.

She is currently conducting her research in CASA on determining measure of performance in smart and design based cities using varieties of quantitative and qualitative dimensions. Based on the hypothesis that the use of technology can be stirred towards creating a smart city that promotes equality and sustainability of urban life, her research aims to answer the question on ways to create a basis smart city framework both in developed and developing countries.
