Online Planning

 Online Planning aims to cover and discuss issues ranging from the impact of the Internet on the planning process to techniques on enhancing planning based websites.

The site includes various demonstrations of Internet based Virtual Reality which have wide ranging implications for the planning and urban design community. Online Planning also includes a fully referred electronic Journal set up to both focus and advance academic discussion on issues raised by developing an on-line planning system.

Online Planning is the focus behind many of the research projects at CASA. The latest being Woodberry Down Regeneration, a site which provides a virtual tour and raised funding to wire residents homes with free internet access to allow public participation in the planning and design process.
