Continued Success for Bartlett and Spacelab
12 September 2012
The Bartlett and Spacelab have secured funding from the Technology Strategy Board to establish a two year Knowledge Transfer Partnership.
The multi-disciplinary academic team, lead by Kerstin Sailer (BSGS) and Andrew Hudson Smith (CASA), will support Spacelab in the development of a bespoke data warehouse to digitise building occupancy data and also create a subscription service to clients for proactive management of building, spatial and social data relating to building occupants.
This will allow Spacelab’s clients to access their own data and analyse their situation in comparison to others. The new tool will enable clients to improve their occupant’s experience and make strategic decisions in holistic space management and business planning.
“Spacelab have developed very close links with the Bartlett over the last 10 years and are very excited to be continuing this with a Knowledge Transfer Partnership,” Andrew Budgen, Partner.
A KTP Associate position is being advertised to deliver this project on a full time basis. We are seeking a recent graduate with suitable experience to work under the co- supervision of the academics and company. For further information, contact Dr Kerstin Sailer on k.sailer@ucl.ac.uk
