Dr Sharon Richardson successfully completes PhD
9 July 2020
Congratulations to Sharon Richardson who yesterday successfully defended her thesis 'Modelling Social-Spatial Dynamics from Real-time Data: Towards a context-aware framework for modelling behaviour change in public space from mobile data'. The viva was chaired by Dr Thomas Oléron Evans, and he was joined by Sharon's supervisors Professor Andrew Hudson-Smith and Dr Hannah Fry, along with examiners Professor Dave Martin and Professor Stephen Marshall, who noted that it was a 'model thesis'. In normal times there would be drinks at CASA to celebrate but in these times please do raise a glass for another in the line of successful PhDs from CASA.
