- 4th Dec 2014
Currently Lyzette works for UCL CASA in a collaboration with the Future Cities Catapult, focusing on finding how to showcase knowledge and visualise complex urban information, in engaging ways.
Lyzette joined UCL CASA in 2013 as an MRes student, where she studied methods on how to reveal spatial patterns through social media data. Her interests of understanding the built environments were nurtured through her professional experience as an architectural designer and strategic planner.
Lyzette has a prior masters degree in Architecture. After her previous master she worked as a consultant for developing land use models considering natural, economic, and social aspects. This triggered her interest in the spatial patterns of cities, which drew her to CASA, for further experimentation using digital innovative mediums, especially engaging in three-dimensional techniques.
