Flora Roumpani, 2011-2012 & PhD 2018

FloraFinal
I am Flora Roumpani, I am an architect and a CASA MRes 2011-2012 alumni. After my MRes, I carried on with an EPSRC funded PhD in CASA, which I completed in 2018, working on procedural 3D cities and urban modelling under the supervision of Professor Andrew Hudson-Smith and Professor Sir Alan Wilson.

Currently I am in The Alan Turing Institute, working on the Data-Driven Libraries project in collaboration with the British Library, and a visiting lecturer in RCA where I am teaching a wide range of GIS and 3D GIS applications for environmental architecture practices.

I am also freelancing on urban planning projects in the UK and abroad. In my current projects, I am applying a wide combination of urban modelling techniques, urban analytics and new media, which is a unique characteristic of CASA’s core research approach. You can find me on Twitter @en_topia, and I am also happy to be contacted by email.
