Refracted Geographies

Refracted Geographies showcases the global scope and diverse approaches of research projects by the 2023–24 cohort of the Architectural History MA at The Bartlett School of Architecture.

Starting from the school's home at 22 Gordon Street, the research presented here spans disciplinary and geographical boundaries, exploring subjects from colonial anthropologies of Antarctica to constructed images of Asia within Europe. Collectively, the authors challenge established architectural canons, their histories and theories, proposing fresh perspectives for thinking and writing about architecture.
