
This short course introduces 16 to 18 year olds to the study of architecture at degree level at The Bartlett School of Architecture.
Students will visit architectural exhibitions, practices and sites of interest before working for three days on a collaborative drawing or model, informed by their experiences.
Five-day Summer School
This short course has been designed for students looking for a brief introduction to The Bartlett and to develop their understanding of architecture as a fundamentally collaborative practice, as well as to refine their drawing and model-making skills. The five-day course has been designed as a taster and will not cover the entire study experience.
Is it for me?
We're looking for applications from motivated students aged 16 and over who are passionate about architecture and design. There are no required skills or subjects.
This short course is for UK-based students only. The school cannot provide support with visas or accommodation.
Dates and fees
There are two sessions for this short course:
- Monday 04– Friday 08 July 2022, 10:00-16:00
- Monday 11 – Friday 15 July 2022, 10:00-16:00
Fees: £350 paid through UCL’s online store. Please note, this fee is non-refundable.
Covid-19
Covid restrictions permitting, this short course will take place at 22 Gordon Street, The Bartlett School of Architecture’s Bloomsbury home. All guidelines government and UCL guidelines will be followed throughout.
