Matthew Butcher in Art Forum as best of 2013

Bartlett Lecturer Matthew Butcher has been named as one of the best of 2013 in the December issue of Art Forum for his project Writtle Calling/2EmmaToc.  The project, a collaboration with Butcher's design practice Post Works and artist Melissa Appleton, is a temporary built structure located in a field in Essex accompanied by a week-long programme of radio broadcasts.
 

The radio schedule was re-broadcast on resonance FM during August 2013. The selection of Art Forum's best of 2013 was done by artist Phyllida Barlow in the section of the magazine issue titled ‘The Artists’ Artist'.
