The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL is delighted to announce that Barbara Campbell-Lange has been appointed Acting Director of School until September 2020, to cover a research sabbatical for the current Director, Professor Bob Sheil.

It is an honour and complete pleasure to temporarily care for The Bartlett

School of Architecture. This school, its students and its staff, combine the

finest minds with a spirit of generosity, experimentation and endeavour that is

a privilege to engage with.

I will continue Bob Sheil’s outstanding work in support of equality, autonomy, integrity and sustainability through collaborative engagement both within and beyond the world of academia, and encourage less-heard voices to join our design conversations.

Our commitment to the ethos of Architecture Education Declares, alongside

increased access to higher education via The Bartlett Promise is absolute.
