Chris Wilkinson of WilkinsonEyre Architects

On Friday 21 June, award-winning architect Chris Wilkinson will open The Bartlett Summer Show 2019 with an address to students, staff, industry and invited guests at the Exhibition Launch Party in UCL’s main quadrangle. Chris will also tour the exhibition before it opens to the public, to select a design unit to win the group Show Opener’s Prize 2019.

Speaking about The Bartlett, Chris said that he has always been impressed by “the scope and breadth of the students’ creative design work, technical knowledge and intellectual inquisitiveness.”

I have been involved with The Bartlett for many years, throughout which I have become aware of the quality of teaching through the excellence of the students’ work. WilkinsonEyre is always keen to interview Bartlett students and we enjoy working with those who join us. I am honoured and delighted to be invited to open this year’s Summer Show.
