ARB Guidance Evening

Join our Professional Studies team for guidance on the Architects Registration Board (ARB) Prescribed Examination, which must be obtained by architects wishing to register in the UK if they don’t hold a prescribed Part 1 or Part 2 qualification.

Taking place at The Bartlett School of Architecture, this evening session is ideal for those in practice, who need guidance on the next steps into the profession.

Our Professional Studies team and invited guests will discuss topics such as the application process, European qualifications, portfolios, coursework and interviews. The evening is structered as follows: 

18:00 – 18:15 Introduction

18:15 – 18:45 Description of the Application and Assessment Process
George Henderson, Advisor to ARB and Panel Examiner explains how to complete the documentation, map the criteria and present the academic portfolio.

18:45 – 19:45 Portfolio Inspection & Presentation
Discussion about the portfolio Inspection, presentation and the process and questions, which take place at the interview.

19:45 – 20:15 Show and Tell Presentations by candidates
Candidates who presented to the Board in the past and successfully passed the examination will talk you through their portfolios and their experience of the process, some doing Part 1, some doing Part 2, some doing both.  

 20:15 – 21:00 Questions
