Undergraduate Open Day
17 November 2017, 9:30 am–1:30 pm
The annual open event for prospective undergraduate students at The Bartlett School of Architecture.
The Bartlett School of Architecture
The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL 22 Gordon Street
Join programme directors, admissions tutors and current students at The Bartlett School of Architecture to find out more about our three undergraduate programmes – Architecture BSc (ARB/RIBA Part 1), Architectural and Interdisciplinary Studies BSc and Engineering and Architectural Design MEng.
Over the course of your morning at The Bartlett you will listen to a biref overview of all three programmes, have a chance to ask questions about them and about the admissions process before being given a tour of the school by one of our student ambassadors and joining the audience for our Architecture BSc Cross Crits.
Booking is essential for our School Open Day, as spaces are limited. The event is designed for prospective students to attend without their parents and tickets are limited to two per booking. A full schedule for the event will be emailed through on Monday 13 November.
What are Cross Crits?
'Crits', short for critiques, are an essential part of how Bartlett students learn and are a way to provide feedback on work in progress. During our Cross Crits students from two of our BSc Architecture Design Units will be asked to do a short presentation of their work, pinned up to the wall to an audience of invited critics, tutors and their peers and then they receive constructive feedback on how their work is progressing. For prospective students, this is an ideal opportunity to see the work of our second and third-year students and gain an understanding of how architecture is taught at the School.
Other Open Days
If you're not able to join us for this event, there are other opportunities to meet Programme Directors, get admissions information and see the School. The summer UCL Open Days will be on the last Friday and Saturday of June 2018 and we run a programme of public lectures and exhibitions throughout the year, including most notably, our annual Summer Show.
If you are a prospective postgraduate student, please register for our Postgraduate Open Day on Wednesday 6 December by clicking here.
