There are two big rivers flowing from Spain across Portugal from east to west to the Atlantic Ocean. One third of the way down the country is the Douro, which reaches the sea at Porto. In the valley of Douro, the grapes used to make Port wine are grown. Two thirds of the way down the country is the Tagus - Tejo - which reaches the sea at Lisbon.
