UCL Astrea Conference 2026

Join colleagues from across UCL for a day of reflection, discussion, networking and future planning as we celebrate women’s experiences at UCL – past, present and future.

On the day, we'll have keynote talks, panel discussions, facilitated networking and practical workshops, this conference will provide space to reflect on career journeys, share experiences, and explore future opportunities in a supportive environment.

09:45 – 10:05: Registration  

10:10 – 10:30: Opening remarks from Co-Chairs and UCL200 
Exploring UCL’s history and celebrating the contributions women have made in shaping our community  

10:30 – 11:15: Learning from the past  
Keynote speaker: Donna Dalrymple, Chief People Officer, reflecting on how past experiences can shape future careers 

11:15 – 12:00: Connecting to the present  
Facilitated networking session to share experiences and build new connections  

12:00 – 13:00: Lunch  

13:00 – 14:00: Shaping the future  
Panel discussion on working towards the future of professional services at UCL:

Guided workshops focused on career development, future planning, and navigating change:  

• Workshop 1: Futureproofing your career in the age of AI  
• Workshop 2: Leading in professional services – developing your leadership capability  
• Workshop 3: Looking into available developmental pathways 
 [You will only be able to attend one of the workshops. Please rank the sessions in order of preference on the registration form. We will try and accommodate as much as possible.] 
 
15:45 – 16:00: Closing remarks

Important Information

  • Registration closes on Friday 19 June 2026. Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, with a waiting list in place should additional spaces become available. 

  • The cost of attendance is £80. This will be charged to your department and you will need to provide a PTA code with your registration form. 

  • Photography may take place throughout the event for promotional purposes.

We'll have lunch and refreshments throughout the day. Please let us know on the registration form if you have any dietary requirements.
