Charesse Miller

Prior to her role at UCL, Charesse has worked as a Social Prescriber based in GP surgeries and as a Wellbeing Navigator for an adult mental health service. Within both roles, she supported clients who required help, advice and signposting to community resources relating to their social and mental health/wellbeing needs. This support was offered through both 1:1 and group interventions and both roles really highlighted to her the importance of trying to manage our own health and wellbeing.

In terms of her background, she completed a Psychology undergraduate degree at the University of Westminster and has experience in both the NHS and voluntary sector, having provided support across primary and secondary care health services in Merton and Sutton. Having worked with a number of students in her previous roles, she became really interested in student wellbeing, and having reflected on her own time at university, really wants to help students make the most out of their university experience.

As a Student Adviser, she is here to listen to students, talk to them if they are having difficulties and to work with them to create the best possible university experience. Find out more about Charesse on the 'Meet your Student Adviser' webpage.
