About our courses
Our courses equip students to communicate with confidence in their chosen language of study. All four skills are taught - reading, writing, listening and speaking - with particular emphasis being placed on oral communication. Our courses present the language as it is spoken today in everyday situations, covering basic survival skills for beginners through to fluent discussions on contemporary issues for our more advanced students.
All of our teachers are either native speakers, or have native fluency in the languages they teach. Many of them teach on BA and MA courses here at UCL and at other universities. Our teachers are highly qualified and extremely popular with their students, creating a friendly, stimulating environment for language learning.
