The grant will fund our project 'History, Literature and the First World War', which includes an academic symposium, a schools' workshop organised together with UCL's post-16 engagement team and a performance at the Bloomsbury theatre titled 'I died in hell - (They called it Passchendaele)' in November 2014.
The UCL Grand Challenge of Intercultural Interaction aims to examine the causes and features of social and cultural diversity, assess their implications and devise new ways to think about them. See the GCII website for more projects funded by Grand Challenges.
