Hannah Smyth, Lecturer in Archives and Records Management has been elected as a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society.

  • Hannah Smyth elected Fellow of the Royal Historical Society

The Society is the UK’s foremost Society working for history and historians. This fellowship has been awarded as mark of esteem in recognition of Hannah’s achievements. During her career, she has made significant societal and academic contributions through her research which crosses disciplines including history, digital humanities and archival science. She has developed a profile in respect of commemoration and the complexities of memorialisation including in places of conflict, feminist heritage, digital oral history, public history, digital humanities and digital curation.
