We are thrilled to announce the launch of our upcoming workshop on text analytics for effective AI learning environments. This workshop brings together educational technology providers, academic researchers, and secondary schools in a concerted effort to advance inclusive educational AI applications, specifically focusing on language and literacy development in humanities subjects.
Led by Dr. Andreas Vlachidis (UCL), Dr. Joseph Mintz (UCL), Dr. Dora Alexopoulou (Cambridge), and Dr. Eliseo Reatgui (UFRGS), this workshop marks the beginning of a transformative journey.
Building upon the success of a prior workshop that explored partnerships for data sharing and educational AI applications to enhance writing skills, our upcoming workshop is the first of two events centring on the potential of text analytics to support the development of writing skills. Emphasis is placed on ethical considerations, multimodal perspectives, matters of inclusivity, and challenges posed by generative AI.
