  • Five permanent positions in Philosophy

UCL's Philosophy Department is looking to make five permanent appointments:

  • 2 appointments in any area of philosophy [application form]
  • 1 appointment in any area where philosophy meets computer science [application form]
  • 1 appointment in political philosophy [application form]
  • 1 appointment in engaged philosophy, related to health or public policy [application form]

The appointments will be at Lecturer level (£50,084–£58,895) or Associate Professor level (£63,921–£69,414; both figures include London Allowance).

As London’s Global University, we are committed to equality of opportunity, to being fair and inclusive, and to being a place where all belong. We therefore particularly encourage applications from candidates whose backgrounds are typically underrepresented in Philosophy.

The application deadline is 30 September 2023. More information is available by following the links to the relevant application forms.
