About the Institute of Jewish Studies
The Institute of Jewish Studies (IJS) was set up in the 1950s to promote the academic study of all branches of Jewish culture.
We are passionate about learning so we make every effort to reach a wide audience through our lecture programmes, conferences, and collaborations with academic institutions in the UK and abroad.
All our events are free and open to everyone.
