About studying English and Comparative Literature at UCL 

Join us to learn more about studying our English BA or Comparative Literature BA.

On our English BA, you could study English literature ranging from the seventh century to the modern day, and take specialist linguistics modules. We provide 1-to-1 tutorial teaching, the only university English department in the UK to do so.

On our Comparative Literature BA, you could study global literatures. You also have the option to learn up to 2 languages. The Study Abroad degree includes a year spent studying in another country.

The open event will start with a short presentation by colleagues in the departments of English Language and Literature, and the School of European Languages, Culture and Society. There will then be time for your questions.
