Y10 Capital L Summer School (Routes into Languages)
Our School has contributed to the Routes into Languages Summer School with a one-day programme of tasters led by our staff and also colleagues from UCL School of Slavonic and East European Studies.
This year the tasters featured Norwegian and Serbo-Croatian as we wanted to give students the opportunity to get to know languages and cultures they might not be studying at school.

It was really engaging and it was so interesting to learn about languages I was not able to study in school like Serbo-Croatian and Norwegian. I found the question session with the UCL ambassadors really helpful to understand what life at university is like and different degrees I am considering. I loved learning about UCL as a university as it was originally not somewhere I would have ever wanted to go because I wanted to leave London for uni but after today I would definitely consider applying.
I feel I have gained some very important life skills and I hope to use them later in my journey.
