Most undergraduate students in the department take the BA in English, a historically-based overview of all literature from Old English to the present, which also includes many opportunities to specialise.
Students can also study for an undergraduate BA degree in English and a Modern Language.
We offer two MA programmes:
- Issues in Modern Culture
- English Linguistics
We also supervise a wide range of MPhil/PhD students.
