Summer School in Ancient Philosophy 2026
Location: University College London (some courses are available in an online format)

A five-day course covering the major themes and thinkers of ancient philosophy.
London Summer School in Classics 2026
Location: In-person at UCL and online (hybrid teaching)
Tuesday 14 to Thursday 23 July 2026
An eight-day Summer School in Ancient Greek and Latin (at all levels), as well as Hittite, Akkadian, Sumerian, New Testament/Koine Greek, and Sanskrit. In addition to daily language classes, there will be lectures and workshops at the end of most days. The minimum age for attendees is 14 years.
Summer School in Homer 2026
Location: In-person at UCL and online (hybrid teaching)
Monday 27 July to Fri 31 July 2026
A five-day Summer School in Homer for students who are interested in studying the Homeric epics. There will be lectures, seminars, workshops and events on a wide variety of Homeric topics with classicists, artists and other practitioners. The minimum age limit for attendees is 15 years.
Study Day for Schools: the Ancient World
Wednesday July 29 2026
A one-day study day for school students interested in doing a degree in Ancient World studies at university. There will be lectures on Virgil, Roman Drama, Sappho, Gilgamesh, Sanskrit, Sociolinguistics.
