Reconnect

Online events focussed on alumni, careers and preparation for the world of work.

Life After UCL

This strange but hopeful moment is an opportunity to rediscover our connections to each other, and to the world beyond UCL. As we approach the end of the academic year, it can be challenging to know what comes next – but UCL is still here to support you!

During these sessions the Faculty of Arts & Humanities, the Faculty of Social & Historical Sciences and School of Slavonic and East European Studies will join UCL Careers and Alumni Relations to discuss the benefits and services available to UCL graduates: careers support, access to mentors, and much more.

You will also hear from a panel of UCL A&H, SHS and SSEES alumni who will reflect on their career journeys. They'll share their valuable insights, experiences and top tips to help you get ahead.

Languages for the Future

Studying languages at UCL and thinking about your future career?

Languages graduates are highly valued by employers for their linguistic and cultural knowledge, and for their range of transferable skills.

Come and hear from a panel of UCL alumni who studied languages at UCL, find out about their career journeys and discover the types of careers available to language graduates.

Find out what they do and how they got there - and pick up some unique tips for getting into a variety of industries after you graduate.

“Perhaps the secret of living well is not in having all the answers but in pursuing unanswerable questions in good company.”
