AI & Policy Roundtables

Jointly supported by UCL Public Policy, UCL Grand Challenges, the Business and Innovations Partnerships team and UCLB from UCL Innovation and Enterprise, UCL hosted a series of roundtable discussions on the topic of AI throughout 2020-2021.

AI is dramatically changing the world we live and work in. The scale of potential impacts is broad - but due to UCL’s breadth and depth in this area, we are uniquely positioned to address and understand the rapidly changing AI environment from an interdisciplinary perspective.

This series brings together leading voices in policy, industry, third sector and academia with the aim of stimulating dialogue and forging consensus on how to deliver 'AI for People and Planet.'

Roundtable outcomes

Consolidating the policy commentaries from each roundtable, our AI for People and Planet: Insights for Public Policy booklet aims to inform policy professionals, academics, decision-makers and industry experts on where public policy efforts and research agendas should focus in the coming years.
