As preparation for this talk, Giulia Smith has recommended watching the keynote given by Katrine McKittrick for the conference organised in conjunction with the Life Between Islands exhibition at Tate Britain. Dr. Smith's essay on the 'Ecological Imaginary of the Caribbean: Nature Erupts into Orchestras of Nemesis' (2021) can be found in the catalogue to the same exhibition.

A video recording of the keynote is available here. Giulia Smith's bio can be found here.

Please note that this event will now take place ONLINE only.
