People and Environments

This first-year Core Course runs in Term 2.

The course will introduce various, mainly life-science oriented, approaches to the archaeological analysis of human beings (osteology, paleopathology, diet, genetics, demography) and of past environments, resources and subsistence (geoarchaeology, zooarchaeology, and archaeobotany; also field sampling strategies).
