IoA involvement:  

Margaret continues her leading contribution to the Petrie Museum Archive Digitization Project, directed by Stephen Quirke and Anna Garnett, to create a major resource for IoA Heritage and World Archaeology research and modules. With co-researcher Ivor Pridden, she supports Stephen Quirke and Claudia Naeser in the development of the new BA in the Archaeology of Egypt and Sudan, in particular through archival-based tutorials and taught classes to introduce UG and MA IoA students to museum archive, as well as through discussion seminars aimed at supporting PhD students. The ongoing development of an enhanced database of the museum’s photographic archive is intended to assist students in all levels of research and exhibition projects.
