Institute of Archaeology

Kimberley Te Winkle - Honorary Research Associate

I am a professional editor with substantive experience in qualitative data gathering and analysis; policy analysis; cross-cultural communication; academic and private sector publishing. Regional specialization in East, South, and Southeast Asia. Subject expertise in archaeology, cultural resource management, archaeological site management and conservation, art history, culture and social sciences.

Research Interests

After working as assistant editor for the journal Conservation & Management of Archaeological Sites, I have now taken over the editorship. The journal has its roots in the Institute of Archaeology and has since grown into a widely read international publication. This reflects the geography of research and decades of international students and practitioners passing through the Institute and continues to build on these relationships, collaborations, and research innovations.
