IoA involvement:  

David contributes lectures to Professor Elizabeth Graham’s classes on the Maya, both undergraduate and graduate. He helps to supervise students in the field at the site of Lamanai, in Belize, in both excavation and laboratory analyses. David provides data from excavations (Altun Ha, Lamanai) on architecture and artefacts (photographs, contextual data, data suitable for analysis) that students use in undergraduate, Master’s and PhD dissertations, and when needed, provides guidance on aspects of the archaeology, namely settlement survey, architecture, burials, and caches.
