UCLU Student Choice and Education Awards 2025

Congratulations to UCL Institute of Archaeology staff and students, who have been nominated in the UCLU Student Choice Awards this year and to those shortlisted for Provost's Education awards.

Institute of Archaeology Nominees (UCLU Student Choice Awards 2025)
The UCLU Student Choice Awards are completely student-led and provide a way for students to thank an amazing member of staff and let them know that their hard work makes a difference. A total of 1120 nominations were received across the nine award categories this year, for 556 individual members of staff.
Active Student Partnership
The award for Active Student Partnership gives students the opportunity to thank a member of staff who is committed to listening to and working with students and their representatives to improve and change education at UCL.

UCL Provost's Education Awards 2025
The UCL Provost’s Education Awards recognise the colleagues whose work will have enabled excellence or facilitated innovation in teaching and learning. This includes recognising the work of postgraduate students who teach and Professional Services who support students' learning. Each shortlisted member of staff has already been awarded a UCL Education Award by their Faculty.
Many congratulations to Claudia Naeser, Corinna Riva, Katie Hemer who have been shortlisted for a UCL Provost's Education Award for improving the student experience, for improving infrastructure or processes that enhance the teaching and learning experience. Many congratulations also to Alice Stevenson for the Eugenics Legacy Project Education Award, for adapting our education so it continues to support graduates to develop the knowledge and skills required to become leaders of tomorrow who can change the world for the better.
The winning staff will be announced at the UCL Education Awards ceremony on Wednesday 4 June.
