Alice's invitation to give her presentation entitled 'Developing Critical Museum Practice: A view from University College London' relates to the Memorandum of Understanding that UCL has with Zhejiang University, in Hangzhou, regarding the University Alliance on Museum Studies.

The objectives of the alliance are:

  • To encourage and promote the professionalisation, collaboration, and sustainable development of global museology teaching and
  • deepen global cooperation in museology teaching, sharing of resources and promoting innovative development and transformation of museums.
