Do you have the drive to become one of the leaders of the future?

First-year Archaeology undergraduate students are invited to apply for UCL’s 2025 Laidlaw Scholar programme, which includes a bursary of £3,000 per year for summer projects plus an additional £100 for each day of attendance at six core leadership training days (£600 maximum). Applicants may propose their own project, or join an existing team.

At the UCL Institute of Archaeology, we are excited to be able to host a Laidlaw Scholar on “Storytelling with archaeology” hosted by Sara Perry, Associate Professor in Digital Public Archaeology, in collaboration with the Transforming Data Reuse in Archaeology (TETRARCHs) project.
