Stonehenge: Beyond the Mystery exhibition

8 October 2018

A new touring exhibition about Stonehenge will open at the Gallo-Roman Museum in Tongeren, Belgium on 12 October.

Stonehenge: Beyond the Mystery exhibition

The exhibition covers the prehistory of Stonehenge from the Mesolithic period to the Early Bronze Age. Drawing on interdisciplinary research by the 'Stonehenge Riverside Project' as well as other recent discoveries, this exhibition highlights the latest developments in our understanding of Stonehenge, its people and its landscape.

The exhibition, curated by Mike Parker Pearson with Beatrijs de Groot, who recently gained her PhD from the UCL Institute of Archaeology, as Assistant Curator, will be on display until mid-April 2019. There are plans for it to travel to North America afterwards.
