An inaugural welcome event with a lecture by Dr Jago Cooper (The British Museum) will take place at the UCL Institute of Archaeology on Tuesday 12 March, 6-7pm in Room 612 (6th floor).
A wine reception will follow the event.

About the Speaker
Dr Jago Cooper
Curator, Head of the Americas
Jago Cooper was appointed as Curator of the Americas in the department of Africa, Oceania and the Americas in 2012.
Jago has responsibility for the curation, presentation, development and research of the Americas collections at the British Museum.His research has long focused on the fascinating human story of the Americas and he has spent many years living and working throughout North, Central and South America.
