Researchers from UCL and the British Museum will explore materials analysis undertaken at both institutions at a special one-day event at the UCL Institute of Archaeology on 12 June.
This one-day meeting brings together researchers in archaeological materials from the BM and UCL, with a particular focus on artefacts. Internationally, the BM and UCL represent one of the largest concentrations of expertise in this area, and share a history of collaboration dating back to Mortimer Wheeler.
Targeted at researchers and students, the meeting aims to illustrate the wide range of questions and approaches adopted, as well as the facilities available across the two institutions.
