Palaeography: | Okasha/Forsyth/2001, 258: `The text is probably half-uncial script'. CISP: The lettering is Insular half-uncial. The As are in the 'OC' form, the initial S in in the half-uncial rather than majuscule form and the B has a slightly curved ascender and an open bow. The D has an ascender which bends to the left over an open bow before curving back to the right at the top. The final R is half-uncial, with a horizontal 'foot'. |
