History: | Hemp/1923, 318--319: `A newly discovered inscribed stone -- A few months ago the Rev. W. Griffiths Jones, rector of Llanaelhaiarn, Carnarvonshire, discovered a new inscribed stone in his churchyard just south of the entrance gate. The stone was buried lying face downwards, and has now been erected close to the site of its discovery'. Macalister/1945, 363, states that the stone was re-erected in front of the gate. Nash-Williams/1950, 88, notes it as 'in churchyard, outside W. end of church'. |
