History: | Macalister/1945, 205-208: `On...7th May [1850, John] Casey visited visited a stone...standing in the middle of a field'. Macalister describes the failed searches of Windele, Brash and himself, before arguing that this stone was in fact a confusion with one of the stones from Kilcoolaght, KLCOO/1. OSullivan/Sheehan/1996, 242--243, discount this and suggest the stone is genuine. |
