Ling. Notes:Macalister/1949, 6--7: `the "Seven Romans", the probability is that this inscription ... is dedicatory rather than commemorative, being erected in honour of the seven martyred sons of Symphorosa, who are named in the Irish martyrologies of Oengus and of Gorman, under date 27 June'.

CISP: The lettering is half-uncial. The M, A and N are in minuscule forms. The R is half-uncial and the V is almost angular.
