Site Notes

Edwards/1990, 118--119: `a low lying island 1.6 km (1 mile] long and about 0.8 km (half a mile) wide situated about 7.2 km (4.5 miles) off the coast of County Sligo'. She notes that whilst the 'ecclesiastical remains are of exceptional interest...no excavation has taken place and most of the features are extremely difficult to date'. A plan of the site is reproduced at 121 showing the location of the Teach Molaise.
