Okasha/1993, 116, gives a summary of the finding of the stone associated with what appears to have been a long-cist burial, which contained `sand, charcoal and ashes'.
Thomas/1994, 190--192, provides a reconstruction of the burial, and suggests that the site was a prominently placed fortification by the Hayle estuary.
