The Institute of Archaeology currently has a vacancy for a part-time Research Associate (Ref.:1339428). The deadline for applications is 18 June 2013.
A part-time Research Associate is sought to implement an innovative three-month cultural engagement collaboration between the UCL Institute of Archaeology and RED EARTH, an international arts organisation, based in Brighton, which specialises in creating site-specific work within, and in response to, prehistoric landscape.
Providing valuable project support, the post-holder will have the opportunity to develop a wide range of skills particularly in relation to supporting the wider impact of arts and humanities research at UCL and developing knowledge of cross-disciplinary public engagement projects.
The post is funded for 3 months in the first instance.
The successful candidate will have a PhD in Archaeology with experience of collaborating with the arts/creative & cultural sectors.
