4 April 2013

David Wengrow

David Wengrow will shortly be convening a second colloquium at New York University in his role as Andrew W. Mellon Project Co-ordinator in the Institute of Fine Arts.

David was appointed to co-ordinate a three-year programme, running from 2011-14 and sponsored by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, to review the status of teaching and research in archaeology at the IFA and promote good practice across the fields of archaeology, art history and conservation.

The colloquium on Archaeology, Heritage and the Mediation of Time will take place at the Institute of Fine Arts, New York University on 12-13 April, with international speakers considering how changing concepts, measures, and representations of time are redefining the field of archaeological enquiry.
