Richard Macphail will run his annual Archaeological Soil Micromorphology Intensive Training Course at the Institute from 5-9 November 2012.
Additional days/week for students' personal practice with reference thin sections and/or their own material is also available (12-16 November 2012).
Richard has over 30 years postdoctoral experience in archaeological soil micromorphology, and is at the forefront of current research, for example, in caves, urban archaeology, experiments, buried soils and floors.
